Beyond music and ministry, Cristian treasures his family. He and Genesis welcomed their daughter, Makaia, in 2026, and she has become the light of his life. Fatherhood has added a beautiful new dimension to his journey, deepening his appreciation for family, purpose, and the blessings of everyday life.

At the heart of everything Cristian does is a desire to see people encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover the transforming power of worship. Whether through songwriting, producing, preaching, or leading a community of worshipers, his mission remains the same: to create spaces where people can experience the presence of God and grow in their relationship with Him.

Filled with a passion to see the body of Christ grow in its relationship with God, Cristian Sorto is a pastor, worship leader, songwriter, and music producer whose life and ministry are centered on leading people into a deeper encounter with Jesus through worship and the Word.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to parents originally from El Salvador, Cristian began singing at the age of five alongside his older brother. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, he developed a deep love for music, songwriting, and the guitar, often spending his weekends playing music in ministry. Having learned to read and write in Spanish at an early age, Cristian eventually began channeling his creativity into writing worship songs that express his faith and desire to draw others closer to God.

Since 2011, Cristian has released six worship albums: Sólo Por Fe (2011), Mi Roca (2014), Día y Noche (2020), Open Letter (2022), Muéstrame (2023), and Ecos de Origen (2026). Over the past two decades, he has had the privilege of ministering to people around the world through music and preaching, a calling he continues to embrace with gratitude and joy.

In addition to his work as a solo recording artist, Cristian is the founder and overseer of Kerusso Worship Collective, the recording ministry of Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church. Through this ministry, he leads and develops a collective of worshipers committed to creating music that serves the church and points people to Jesus. Under his leadership, Kerusso Worship Collective has recorded and released two albums, further expanding his passion for cultivating worship and developing music within the local church.

Cristian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Southern Adventist University in 2021, where he also served as a worship leader. It was there that he met his wife, Genesis Sorto, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling. Cristian previously served as the lead pastor of a four-church district in Wisconsin before transitioning to his current role as Worship Pastor at Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kettering, Ohio.
